The BNCS Annual Conference 2026 brings the whole nuclear cardiology community together for a day of the latest science, live case discussion, and the kind of cross-disciplinary conversation that only happens face to face.

Programme Highlights

A full day, four sessions, and a line-up spanning the leading edge of nuclear cardiology.

State-of-the-Art Nuclear Imaging — opening the day with PET myocardial perfusion, quantitative SPECT, and total-body PET, chaired by Prof. Richard Underwood and Prof. Rick Steeds.

Nuclear Imaging in Amyloidosis — bone tracer imaging and novel tracer developments, followed by an industry-sponsored symposium on first-line treatment of ATTR cardiac amyloidosis with Prof. Julian Gillmore.

AGM, Best Cases & the Young Investigator Award — the Society's annual business, followed by the best case submissions and this year's Young Investigator Award presentations.

Infection and Inflammation — closing the day with imaging in myocarditis, cardiac sarcoidosis, and device-related infective endocarditis.

• The Young Investigator Award — newly revitalised, this is your chance to present original research to the whole community, with prize-giving at the close of the day. The top three abstracts will receive free registration and will be invited to present at the conference
• The Best Case Presentation — bring your most instructive case to a room of peers and mentors. The top three case submissions will receive free registration to the meeting and will be invited to present at the conference
