Bursaries

If you are a HEE, STP or HSST trainee, or AHP  you should be eligible to claim the expenses through your study leave budget.

If you have applied for funding and it has been refused or you currently hold a role that does not have a study budget, please review the bursary information below.

 

How To Apply

  • Click the register now button, you will be asked to log in to your BHRS account and then can continue with register now.
  • Once you have completed your personal details and clicked next, select BHRSimulation and review the bursary information just underneath.
  • Tick the relevant boxes to check you are eligible, and if so, use the relevant discount code (below), and continue your registration. You will be charged a £1 non-refundable admin fee.
  • REGISTRATION FEE ONLY - In order to be approved please email BHRS@millbrookconferences.co.uk and provide documentation confirming that no alternative form of reimbursement is available to you. Code BHRSREG26
  • TRAVEL, ACCOMMODATION AND REG FEE - In order to be approved please email BHRS@millbrookconferences.co.uk and provide documentation confirming that no alternative form of reimbursement is available to you as well as advising of your postcode to ensure you are located outside of Edinburgh.   • TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION ONLY - Please complete your registration and pay for registration. Once complete please email BHRS@millbrookconferences.co.uk and provide documentation confirming that no alternative form of reimbursement is available to you as well as advising of your postcode to ensure you are located outside of Edinburgh.
  • There is a maximum of £200 available for reimbursement on travel and accommodation.

 

  • Millbrook Medical Conferences will inform you by email if your application has been successful. We recommend that you do not book any accommodation or travel before confirmation.
  • For a successful travel/accommodation bursary, travel and accommodation should be organised and paid for by yourself initially. A claim form will be sent to you at the end of the event, which must be returned by Tuesday 13 October, with all receipts. Please note only standard class travel will be reimbursed.
  • For successful applicants you must attend the event, complete the evaluation and receive a certificate of attendance.
  • Information to approve bursaries must be received by Monday 21 September or your application will be unsuccessful.
  • If your application is unsuccessful for a registration fee bursary, you will be given the option of cancelling your registration or paying the registration fee in full.
  • If you are approved for a bursary and do not attend the event, cancel within 4 weeks of the start date, or are found to be ineligible for the bursary, we may charge you the full price of the registration fee.
  • 5 bursaries are available for each of the following BHRS nations (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) 20 in total. Should there not be a bursary available in your category at the time of your application you will be added to a waitlist. Any remaining bursaries will be offered to those on the waitlist on the 31st August.
  • The BHRS' decision is final.
